The University Council advises the Executive Board and the Senate, participates in the election and dismissal of members of the Executive Board, and comments on economic and development plans.
The University Council consists of seven members, six of whom are appointed by the Ministry of Science. One representative is sent from the Senate.
The members of the Executive Board and the Equal Opportunities Officer participate in the meetings of the University Council in an advisory capacity.
