Now the book, published by Fruehwerk and Steidl, which was created in collaboration with photographer Anke Illing and students led by Prof. Dominika Hasse from the Faculty of Design at HAWK in Hildesheim, has received a Red Dot.

Red Dot Award for the book „Sichtbar – Frauen in der Architektur“

„Sichtbar – Frauen in der Architektur“ is the result of the collaboration between photographer Anke Illing and students in Prof. Dominika Hasse's editorial design seminar at the HAWK's Faculty of Design in Hildesheim. Internationally renowned publisher Gerhard Steidl accompanied the seminar as a guest critic. He facilitated the Tritone printing for the black-and-white photos, ensured the high-quality finishing, and ensured a hardcover publication of the highest quality. For the students in the seminar, this meant being able to test themselves under real-life conditions in the extremely demanding implementation of a project as part of their studies.

"The book is the wonderful collaboration of many highly ambitious women who have made it their joint mission to make women more visible and audible. They are the ones who will shape the future and the image of women. They are aware of their own potential and understand the importance of their own storytelling," summarizes Prof. Dominika Hasse.
